The best standalone Google Music app!

Gear for Google Play has made Google Music so much more useful!

Instead of being a simple skin with a web view, Gear is a full-featured, lightweight native app that lets you do everything Google Music does and more - the app brings tons of features including support for keyboard media keys, Last.fm scrobbling, gapless playback (awesome), an equalizer, system bar shortcuts and Notification Center support. Everything is presented in a familiar iTunes-like interface thats a pleasure to use.

The developer also deserves a ton of credit for having instant turnaround on support emails. When I emailed him about a bug in a previous version that affected the sort order of multi-disc albums, he responded within minutes with a fixed version of the app that I could use right away while the App Store was still approving the update. Needless to say, Im a very satisfied customer!
